It's also notable to consider that it tends to be slightly incorrect to presume any given occultist actually believes all the tenants of whatever it is they preach. A belief often really only tells us about mindset and values, rather than action, so it's often that these people very much are diligent, but don't consider it relevant to their success or at least the experience of success, since they were likely diligent before but not able to recognize happiness.

I'm serious though. If you compare doing work and praying to not doing anything, it leads to thinking either praying or working or both works. And assuming prayer has at least some impact too might be convenient.

As an example it's easy to say that christians are prudes and therefore they do not do a lot of the standing on the good foot and doing the bad thing. But really they are probably the same on the amount but feel guilty about it if it's in the wrong context.

It makes sense. The Ophiuchus doesn't want to be associated with bullshit and their exclusion from zodiac signs is all planned. They sometimes pretend to cry for being ignored but in reality, they are laughing at astrology while hiding in the background. I love them even more now.
